Cricket Nursery provides children with a safe, loving, engaging, interesting, respectful and nurturing environment in which to grow and develop. All who are involved with the school – families, children and educators – are responsible for creating and maintaining the school environment in a way that supports the mission of the school.
The nursery nurtures the child physically, socially and intellectually by providing high-quality small group interactions and an intriguing and interesting environment in which to explore.
At the Cricket Nursery, Welsh Congregational Church, Lower Road, Harrow your children’s needs are well catered for with the aid of carefully chosen Montessori equipment and EYFS framework.
The Montessori method is an indirect teaching method because it neither imposes on the child nor does it abandon him or her in total free play. Instead it provides a carefully planned and structured environment in which children can grow and learn in a natural way with the best possible opportunities for reaching their potential.
Using the EYFS framework gudelines provides an introduction to such subject areas as geography, French, science, mathematics, reading and writing.
